Very good lesson

Which I will carefully follow. I have to say, with all due respect, that this movie definitely didn't please me at all. In fact, it would be pretty accurate to say it wasn't really a movie at all in my humble opinion. Let me tell you why :

- The graphics, even though it featured a very well drawn character ... were exclusively constituted of that very character, which makes it a way too short "animation". I don't think there can be animation without animation. So my recommendation on further improvement would be to think about animating your flash, putting content.

I would really like to give you my opinion about the rest of the movie, but sadly I can't, because there is nothing else in the movie. So here's my conclusion : this movie isn't worth much, as it shows no effort at all. You have to take time to make a good animation, which you apparently didn't. So I hope you will do better next time.

I guess you won't be surprised to learn they don't like you ...

Anyway, the flash was horrible, way too short, not enough work behind the animating and no thought behind the flash itself. It means you pretty much have to improve everything, but most of all you have to get the will to make a good flash and put efforts behind.

Geez, I hate making that kind of review ...

Boring, short, low quality

The flash was really bad. It was way too short and all there is was pretty lame too. The graphics were drawn with apparently no effort as the rest of the animation. I sadly can't express myself on the subject of the flash itself, but the technical part lacked lot of efforts. If you want to pass some message, either make it on the BBS or force yourself a little, at least for those like me who cares a little ...

It was very cheap, nothing interesting at all, it's just like if you took less than an hour to make it, which is usually far from what it needs for a good animation to be.

Style : 0
Just a boring parody of ATWI80D, it's nothing quite original and it looked just as lame as the original.

Sound : 4
There were some interesting songs, but they weren't especially appropriated, nothing special about it.

Violence : 0
There was none.

Interactivity : 0
There was none.

Humor : 0
I definitely haven't found it funny. I don't have a habit of laughing at censored gay porn.

Overall : 0
All in all the best word I can come up to describe it is cheap. It basically means that you need to put a lot more time, effort and thoughs on all part of the movie as it was really bad.

At least it got a few frames now ...

Graphics : the images quality and sizing was ok except for wade's face that wasn't looking good at all. Considering the only vectorial graphics are the eyes, the mouth and the ! you add on the second picture, I think you could put some effort at it and add details at least. Animation-wise, it's lame and boring, I don't think I have to develop much about it.

Style : it's just plain boring, nothing interesting about it.

Sound : good quality and good song, appropriated for the animation. Too high quality for such a little and pointless animation though, reduce the music's quality and it'll give a more decent filesize.

Violence : none.

Interactivity : none.

Humor : I personnaly don't see any, it's just plain boring.

Overall : awful movie all in all. Put some effort in your work and it'll give something better, it's quite simple.

Ok, I'll try to find ideas for "constructive criticism", it's pretty hard but I guess you're used to it.

So eh ... I think you should start by lowering the filesize and a good way to do so would be to lower the quality of the music you use. You might also want to improve the graphics ... and may be actually put more than one frame in you movie, 'cause with just one frame we can hardly call it an animation. Another thing you could try to improve is the plot of your movie. You know, it was really interesting and it kept my breath away all the time, but I think you can do a little better though.

So, overall it was definitely bad bad bad, but you can get better ! All you need is to actually put a little, little effort in your work and you'll be able to do something thousand time better yaiy !

This review is extremely helpful, thank you! I will reduce the file size of the music by reducing the export quality from "imported mp3" quality to 16 kpbs, I will have multiple frames in the movie (probably more key frames than normal frames so I can do frame by frame animation as opposed to tweens), and I can make a riveting plot that Newgrounds viewers can appreciate, understand, and enjoy! Clearly I would not have thought of these ideas on my own so I hugely appreciate the time you took to review this film!

Definitely bad, very bad

Graphically, it was terrible. You had a few drawn element that were ok (although, nothing exceptionnal), but the rest was only low-quality images that were moving a little here and there. The intro music was entertaining, but the rest, although featuring cool songs, was really clichéd. I don't think it's funny at all neither, but may be I just missed the point.

Overall I definitely disliked it, it was way too short, way too cheap and it lacked efforts. You should make it longer, work on the animation (well, actually "start" animating it), you could've also made the whole serie in one submittion since it was very short and most important, you should put effort and thougth in your work, would it only be in respect of the other users who works hard to make good content.

There was animation in it. I don't know how you missed it. I think making this as one flash would have lost a lot of the point of this series. I think people can submit whatever they want here, be it crap or hard-work. This site is a place for flashes of all standards, not just the best of the best. There were also a large number of fans for this series, which I think shows beyond any doubt that these flashes deserve to be here.

Haha that was great !

Graphics = 9 : very good. Clean, simple and sweet graphics, not exactly outstanding but almost worth a perfect mark.
Style = 10 : simply great ! If I could I'd give it a higher mark, it was really brilliant !
Sound = 5 : no headphone, couldn't hear anything ...
Violence = 2 : not exactly the point of the movie
Interactivity = 6 : near the higher mark I would give for a movie, interactivity belongs to games ... mostly
Humor = 8 : once again, it mainly resides in the style, but still, that was pretty amusing !
Overall = 9 : GREAT animation, I loved it a lot !
